The Jodie O’Shea Orphanage is a non profit organization and we depend solely on donations from the kindness of others
to support the children’s needs. Our major programme is to take care children and provide them with good education.
Besides, Jodie O'Shea Orphanage also supports the programmes to help other people who lacked of water source in Lewa, Sumba Island, named Water for Families Programme. By the supports and collaboration with other organization and individuals, we have built 21 wells. One well was supported by Strandhill Indonesia Relief Fund (SIRF), 6 by the Austalian government, and 14 assisted by the Rotary Club in Honolulu and Rotary Club Seminyak.
The five clubs from Hawaii are Rotary Club of Kahala Sunrise - lead club (Joan's), Ala Moana, Hanalei Bay, Downtown Honolulu, Mililani Sunrise. |
