First and foremost we would like to thank everyone who supports us by visiting with a friendly smile, donating clothing, money and food. Our children LOVE having visitors and learning about the world outside Indonesia. We truly could not do what we are doing without your support and we are eternally grateful. We try our best to say a personal thank you, but if sometimes this doesn't happen please forgive us.
TRIP TO LOVINA
In December the children had a lovely outing to Lovina Beach and the Hot Springs. Although it was a rather long drive from Denpasar it was well worth the journey. Everyone had a fun filled and exciting day. Lunch by the beach at Lovina, a dip in the ocean and the highlight of the trip several hours spent swimming in the Hot Springs.
So much excitement left the children exhausted only to all fall asleep in the car on the way home.

TRIP TO THE ELEPHANT PARK
On January 26th some of our children were lucky enough to visit the Bali Elephant Park. What an amazing day we all had! Many thanks to Nigel who so generously invited us for lunch and the elephant rides. The journey home was also quite something as the monsoon rains hit with a vengeance and the roads were suddenly flooded causing even more excitement for all at the end of such a wonderful day!!!

LUNCH AT RUSTICA RESTAURANT
Thank you to our friend Cathy who kindly introduced us to the lovely Luigina the owner of Rustica Restaurant in Batu Belig. The children enjoyed copious amounts of delicious authentic Italian cuisine , prepared with love and gleefully devoured by all.

GROWING UP
As you all know many of our older children will soon be graduating from senior high school. This leaves us with the inevitable task of helping these children pursue their future vocation. Ultimately our goal has always been to secure them with an occupation in a safe and rewarding environment. For those of our children who wish to continue their studies we will endeavour to encourage and to support them. As this is yet another challenge for us to financially sustain, we would like to ask if any of you are interested in sponsoring a child through college or university
With our sincere thanks for your continuous support.
