Jodie O'Shea Orphanage Newsletter July 2009   As usual the months have flown by and we find ourselves asking the same question each time "where does the time go?" We want to say a huge thank you to all our volunteers. This newsletter is devoted to the special people who have been visiting our home and helping "bring light into the lives of our children" VOLUNTEERS AT JODIE O'SHEA Cecilia has been working so hard ( in fact too hard) setting up a system for us be able to receive volunteers on a regular basis. A special THANK YOU to Cecilia for all your efforts. In the past couple of months we have had several people so kindly pass on their skills and talents to our kids PAULA Has been so helpful advising Cecilia on the every day to day running of our home & Paula you will be really pleased to hear that your wonderful advice has been taken and both children & carers are all benefitting. Thank you!!! BONNIE Came in and assisted Cecilia with the entertainment programme as well as English & the art. Thank you Bonnie we are looking forward to spending more time with you in the coming months its very exciting!!! JENNIFER Jennifer took some time out of her holiday to do a some yoga classes and art & English classes. Thank you so much. CATHRINA Thank you so much for assisting Sriwani on her keyboard this is such a wonderful thing you are doing & Sriwani’s progress is coming along in leaps and bounds. ITA Thank you Ita for coming in every day to give English classes, we cannot express how grateful we are to you for giving up so much of your holiday time before your children arrive, our kids have benefitted enormously. ANTOINE Thank you also for your help with computer, soccer & English lessons DEREK& SARA Our boys have been enjoying their surfing lessons. They had a little taste when our Aussie surfers were in town and its great that you want to continue to encourage them with this great sport. Thank you KATHRINE Our girls loved making their little purses & your sewing classes are amazing. We look forward to seeing you again soon!!! Thank you CANGGU SCHOOL As we have mentioned in previous newsletters some of our children visit Canggu Community School on Monday afternoons to spend time with the devoted young children from the school who generously donate their time participating in activities with our children. Thank you also to Robyn & Peter Sales for your constant support of this programme. Thank you VALENTINA & TATIANA Little did we know that when Valentina & Tatiana arrived they would be coming with the soul purpose of helping our children. Many many hours were spent doing activities & English classes & when we went on our holiday to Pemuteran Valentina & Tatiana so kindly came along to continue with the English classes during the holiday. We are so lucky to have found these special friends for life & we look forward to many more wonderful times together. Thank you AFRICAN DRUM BAND We cannot believe how blessed we are that Sarah & Aran come every Wednesday afternoon. The children are loving the beat of the drums & the fabulous dancing this is just such an amazing skill you are giving them. Truly WONDERFUL, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts CECILIA Once again to Cecilia our shining light an angel sent from heaven. We will never be able to thank you enough for your love & dedication xxx We cannot do a newsletter without mentioning our very special visitor JACK BAKER Jack his sister Serena, brother Henry & parents Lisa and Richard Baker came all the way from America especially to meet our children. All of our kids had a FANTASTIC memorable day out at the Bali Safari Park . Thank you so much for this generous gift it was such an amazing day for everyone & we all so enjoyed meeting you and your family. Thank you Jack for all you are doing & we look forward to seeing you again in March. Again as always there are so many people to thank but we hope you all know how grateful we are for your visits, your donations & your constant support without which our work would be impossible We leave you with the promise that another newsletter will be forthcoming much quicker the next time round!!
