We would like to thank everybody who has donated and sent over clothing, sheets, towels, toys and other needed items, we have even received monetary donations sent in envelopes from overseas. We are truly grateful to you all for your kindess and generosity. It is due to your compassion and thoughtfulness that we are able to provide for these children.

As many of you are aware we are still struggling with the authorities here to obtain the paperwork that will enable us to open an official bank account and become a recognised charity. So therefore we are still dependent on your support and assistance to enable us to offer a better life for these children.

Since our last newsletter, Melissa from Body and Soul here in Bali paid a visit to our home. She was moved by our endeavours to provide for these children and kindly offered to lease an extra piece of land adjoining our building. Melissa didn't stop there! She also offered to pay for the materials and building for a new extension to be used as a facility for both studying and as a dining area during the wet season. Melissa, we cannot thank you enough.

Cili Foundation

The Cili Foundation is an Indonesian-based organisation that provides assistance for children in need. Thanks to the Cili Foundation we are receiving 200 kgs of rice every month. This basic necessity goes a long way and allows us to channel our funds towards other requirements. We would like to thank the Cili Foundation for their ongoing support of our Jodie O'Shea home for children,

A Kind Invitation

In our last newsletter we mentioned that Grades 1 and 2 from Sunrise School together with their teacher Ms Kayti Denham came for a visit and showed us how to recyle. Given that Christmas is fast approaching, Kayti and her class have invited all our children to share a day of fun and sun at Water Bom Park on December 14th. It promises to be a fantastic day for everyone.
